Mr. Lorenzo held the positions of Chief District Court Prosecutor, Director of Policy and Planning, and Assistant District Attorney for 10 years in Essex County. He had a significant amount of jury trial experience at that time. He has also participated in appellate litigation, arguing matters before the First Circuit Court of Appeals, the Appeals Court, and the Supreme Judicial Court. He has instructed in various continuing legal education courses in addition to the Clinical Program at Harvard Law School. He has written a book and other papers on criminal law, trial practice, and evidence.
